Prima Music Box

Hello my crafty friends!

I hope you all had a very blessed Christmas and are ready for an amazing 2015!
I know I am!!
Today I am sharing this adorable Music Box I bought at the Prima Outlet in Chino.
I just knew I had to alter this and give it to my son's girlfriend for Christmas.

When you take off the lid there is an adorable layout of my son looking all dapper. I embellished this mini page with lots of Prima flowers, jewels and trinkets. It even has a tag that says you and me! So sweet!

The silver Music Box was painted with Black Chalkboard paint and then I wrapped some pretty Prima paper around the outside and embellished it like crazy. I think it is beautiful and so did she.
Inside we also added a gift card for her to go shopping at one of her favorite stores.

can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

Hello my crafty friends!

Merry Christmas!! Today I want to share with you my first altered glass block.

I used my Explore and a file from the Cricut shop this is from one of the Teresa Collin's carts.
I added some poinsettias on the top and it looks gorgeous sitting on my end table in my family room.  I see more of these in my future!

Kiwi Lane- Do Not Open til Christmas!

Hello my creative friends, Connie here for my final DT project this term with Kiwi Lane.
I just want to start off by saying thank you to each and everyone of you for taking the time to view my projects and leave me some wonderful love. I especially want to thank Debbie, Shiloh, Susan and Jennifer for such an amazing opportunity to create with such an awesome product and the best team around!!
I am sad to see my term end but my love for Kiwi Lane will always be glowing bright!! Afterall I love these templates !! It's been a true pleasure and I hope I can inspire you all to create fun projects one more time using Kiwi Lane Designer Templates.

This month I decided to create a Christmas layout using my templates along with some fun Echo Park Paper. This "Dear Santa" paper line is adorable and along with Kiwi Lane Templates , I have a true a layout I can treasure for years to come.

After deciding what templates I wanted to use, I laid them all out on my paper until I was in love with my design. My next step was to cut out the designs from my fun patterned papers and then ink them with the matching CTMH inks.

Using my Traditions templates, I cut out several Christmas bulbs and two mittens. I wanted to accent them with something other than paper so I pulled out my washi tapes in matching Christmas colors and added just a little to each item. That was just the right amount of fun each die cut needed!!

Adding my photos and layering my embellishments were so much fun. The hardest part of creating a great layout (I think) is deciding on your templates and paper and making them come together. Here's my finished Christmas layout from a few years ago.

I just love these non traditional Christmas Colors too!! Don't you?
Merry Christmas Friends!!!

 Recipe:
Kiwi Lane Templates:
Traditions 1T and 3T

Large Bracket 2
Clara Lane 1A, 2B, 3A and 3B
Flowers and Bling
CTMH Ink Ruby and Lagoon

Washi tapes
What will you create today using Kiwi Lane Templates?
I can't thank you enough for checking out my project. It means the world to me and I hope you truly enjoyed it. May it inspire you to create something wonderful!   Scrappy Hugs!

My project today is a beautiful Ball Jar full of Sea Salt Bath Crystals. I created this at one of my Suzy West Classes at Prima. And I am in LOVE with it. I plan on giving it away, but to be honest I am having a really hard time letting it go. LOL!

I love the use of Chalkboard Paint around the jar and then adding fabric and twine. The pin cushion on top is so cute, especially with all the added pins, buttons, and flower.

But the real show stopper is the front. The poinsettias are beautiful with an added pin
and a cute Julie Nutting mini doll dangling.
Now who to give this to.....hmmmm.....

Up next is my crafty friend Linda!!

We wish you all a Very Merry Christmas!

Hello Crafty friends!!!
Today I am taking a step back in time
to share with you one of my favorite boy layouts
created with SVG files by Miss Kate Cuttables.

In October I was lucky enough to guest design for them and I am really fond of my creation, but for what ever reasons not many people saw it, so I figure it's time to bring it back to say "Hey check me out!" LOL!

My project was created using the
Adventure Time
Pick yours up (HERE)

Adventure Time SVG files vacation svg files vacation svg cut files free svgs scrapbooking cardmaking
I used this amazing file to create this adorable layout using
Adventure Time!

My photo is of my kids and their cousin
in front of the Indiana Jones Temple of Dome at Disneyland!
Collin was finally tall enough to ride and we needed to document this occasion
because this is one of our favorite rides!

Here is a close UP of the title! I love the postage stamp. So fun!!

I love the rich colors in this Simple Stories Paper Line. They worked perfectly for this great file. I added a little ink for distressing and some gold sequin to add a magical touch.

I'm taking a leap and trying out for the Miss Kate Design Team. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I love her files!! It would be an honor to be on such an amazing team.

These slider cards are super fun to create. Pine Cone Press sells them in packages and they also sell the adorable sheets with themes you can cut to decorate them with. Of course you can decorate them with any thing you wish but when I bought my cards at the Expo I received the sheets free.

I am determined to create an SVG file for these as well as a You Tube Tuesday Video so stay tuned!!!

Just imagine how cute a gift card will look attached to the right panel of this slider card. I added a pretty Prima Lace Flower and some bling to my card.

Merry Christmas!!
